🥬🍳 Creamy Spinach Egg Skillet with Cheese – Easy High Protein Recipe

This simple spinach and egg skillet is one of my favorite comfort meals.
It’s quick, made in one pan and packed with flavor – just like my mom used to make it.

Soft spinach, fluffy eggs and melted cheese come together into a dish that’s both satisfying and nourishing.

Ingredients

  • olive oil
  • frozen or fresh spinach (as much as you like)
  • 6–7 eggs
  • 1 tsp Ras el Hanout
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 5 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 mozzarella ball
  • (optional) grated cheese

Toppings (optional)

  • cream cheese
  • sliced tomatoes
  • black cumin seeds

Instructions

1. Cook the spinach

Heat olive oil in a pan.
Add the spinach and cover with a lid. Let it cook on low heat until thawed and softened.

2. Prepare the egg mixture

In a bowl whisk together eggs, salt, pepper, Ras el Hanout and cumin.
Add chopped garlic and mix again.

3. Combine

Pour the egg mixture over the spinach in the pan.
Stir slightly, then cover with a lid and cook on low heat.

4. Add cheese

Once the bottom starts to set, add sliced mozzarella (and optional grated cheese) on top.

5. Flip

When the edges are golden, carefully flip the whole skillet using a plate.
Slide it back into the pan and cook for a few more minutes.

6. Finish

Turn off the heat and let it rest for about 10–15 minutes.

Serving

Serve warm and top with cream cheese, tomato slices and black cumin seeds if you like.
