
This spicy one pan chicken pasta is perfect when you want something quick, flavorful and a little fiery.
Everything is made in one pan – juicy chicken, creamy tomato sauce and tender pasta.
It’s simple, comforting and packed with bold flavors.
Ingredients
- olive oil
- 2 chicken fillets
- 2 red onions, sliced
- 200–250 g cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tsp Ras el Hanout
- 1 tsp thyme
- ½ tsp cumin
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tsp harissa (adjust to spice level)
- 3–4 splashes tomato sauce (passata)
- 1 tbsp sour cream (Schmand)
- 1–1½ cups water
- 6–7 portions spiral/spinach pasta nests
- Korean BBQ sauce (for topping)
Instructions
1. Cook the chicken
Heat olive oil in a large pan and cook the chicken fillets until golden.
Remove and set aside.
2. Build the sauce
In the same pan, add onions, cherry tomatoes and garlic.
Sauté briefly.
Add Ras el Hanout, thyme, cumin, salt and pepper.
3. Add flavor
Stir in tomato sauce, sour cream and harissa.
Mix everything well.
4. Add liquid
Pour in water and bring to a gentle simmer.
5. Cook the pasta
Add the pasta nests and press them slightly into the sauce.
Cover with a lid and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Finish
Turn off the heat.
Place the chicken on top and drizzle with Korean BBQ sauce.
